DO NOT THROW AWAY PEARS’ AND APPLES’ PEEL – HERE WHAT IT CAN TREAT

Once you peel apples and pears do not dispose the peel.
An average size pear contains about 4 grams of fiber and most of it is located in the peel. And you probably know that foods rich in fiber reduce the risk of colon cancer. Pear’s peel contains most of the fiber and therefore it is best to consume this fruit it with its peel.
Pear is great source of vitamins C and K, copper and fiber. Vitamin C is well known fighter against free radicals. Copper, on the other hand, eliminates super oxidative radicals, while fiber acts preventively against colon cancer.
One pear contains about 3.98 grams of fiber, 6.64 mg of vitamin C, 7.74 mg of vitamin K, 0.19 mg of copper and only 97.94 calories. Pears are an ideal choice for all those who have a dynamic, fast and stressful lifestyle.
Fresh pear has lots of fiber, especially pectin. An average sized peat can provide about 6 grams of fiber of which 40% is pectin. Fiber helps maintain normal blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and allows normal functioning of the intestines and their regular emptying.
Experts have analyzed the chemical composition of apple peel and found that phytochemicals are proven agents against at least three types of carcinoma of the lung, colon and liver.
Many analyzes made on apples are proving the famous saying: An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Because of the great benefits and nutritional value nutritionists advise to eat at least 40 kg of apples a year. Apples facilitate digestion and contain other useful substances that stimulate the immune system, protect against cancer and prevent the deposition of fat in the liver. This fruit also contains water and vitamins such as A, B, C, malic, citric, and formic and carbonic acid.
Fresh apple fruit contains pectin, same as pear. This compound absorbs the water and toxic substances in the intestine. This way apple eliminates toxins from the body. Apples contain minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, iron and calcium. One kilogram of apples contains 600 calories, just as there are in a liter of milk. However, apple decomposes in the stomach in just twenty minutes. If eaten in combination with other food, the process of decomposing may last for several hours, so it is good to eat it half an hour before meals or a few hours after a meal.
There is more fiber in the peel
A medium size apple contains 4.4 grams of fiber. If you throw away the peel you will end up with only 2.1 grams of fiber. This is why it is recommendable to consume unpeeled apples.
There are more vitamins in the peel
One medium-sized apple, together with the peel contains 8.4 mg of vitamin C and vitamin A, while peeled apple contains only 6.4 mg of vitamin C.
Soother breathing related problems
The compound that helps breathing is called quercetin and is mostly found in apple’s peel. One study came to a conclusion that people who eat five or more apples a week have healthier lungs than those who eat less or do not eat apples at all.
Apple peel can even prevent cancer
A study, conducted in 2007, on the Cornell University, came to the conclusion that compounds called terpenes, contained in the bark of the apple, are able to prevent or kill existing cancer cells in the laboratory conditions. These compounds are particularly effective against cancers of the colon, liver and breast cancer.
Quercetin protects the memory
This antioxidant fights against the damage of brain tissue associated with Alzheimer’s disease or other similar diseases.
One apple, together with its peel, prevent gaining weight
Ursolic acid can also be found in the skin of the apple. This acid is a compound that is essential to the fight against obesity. Ursolic acid increases muscle mass burns calories and thus reduces the risk of overweight.
