Makes me wonder why the US never saw fit to make this our law, too, long before Israel even existed. Having said that, it makes me wonder if there IS such a law quietly on our books from long ago, forgotten by generations of Americans who would not have dreamed of violating it, and then ignored when Zionists began flouting it.Tomnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7960343306536592656.post-22494102830525935862015-06-12T14:29:27.607-07:002015-06-12T14:29:27.607-07:00What is good for Israel should be good for America...What is good for Israel should be good for America. NO "dual citizen" allowed in government. Israel: Three dual-citizen MKs ordered to annul their foreign passports
by Shahar Ilan - Haaretz - Feb18 2009
The Central Elections Committee has ordered three Knesset members with dual citizenship to annul their foreign passports by next Tuesday's swearing-in ceremony, or at least begin steps to cancel them.
The three lawmakers are Yohanan Plesner of Kadima (who has Danish citizenship), Nitzan Horowitz of Meretz (a Polish citizen) and Yisrael Beiteinu's Anastasia Michaeli, who holds a Russian passport. The Basic Law on the Knesset states that "a member of Knesset holding an additional citizenship that is not Israeli ... will not take the oath of loyalty until he has done everything he can to relinquish it." -
Nobody can have loyalty to TWO Nations at the same time. SO nobody with "dual citizenship" should be allowed to hold ANY post in OUR government.Ryannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7960343306536592656.post-61017450669662964732015-06-12T13:48:23.069-07:002015-06-12T13:48:23.069-07:00Here's a promise: I refuse to hold my nose and...Here's a promise: I refuse to hold my nose and vote for a Zionist even if all the other candidates are worse. Support for Israel automatically removes a candidate from any possibility of getting my vote. An otherwise strong Republican candidate for senator from Oregon failed to unseat a weak, first-term Democrat, Jeff Merkley, in the last election. I wonder if enough people like me refused to vote for her because of her Zionism and it cost her the election?Tomnoreply@blogger.com
