US First Lady Michelle Obama endorses her husband's campaign re-election bid with the words "he's my man" on the mock-news programme The Colbert Report.
The 2012 presidential campaign season is well-under way in the US, and yet another critical endorsement was given to President Barack Obama.
Appearing on the popular mock-news chat show, The Colbert Report on Comedy Central, Michelle Obama was teased over her popularity.
"You are popular. Do you ever lord over the President the fact that you're more popular than he is? Do you ever say, 'Hey, watch it, or I might not campaign for you?'" show host Stephen Colbert asked.
"I might try that when I get home," Michelle Obama replied. The First Lady went on to praise her husband's record in the Oval Office.
"I am endorsing my husband, Barack Obama. I think he will be a phenomenal president. He has done a phenomenal job. He's my man."
