What The U.S. Would Look Like If Booze Preferences Determined State Lines

Wine-aficionado site Vinepair has re-imagined the United States in this new map, by drawing the regional boundaries that divide the country based on alcohol preferences, rather than political ones.

I call it: "alcoholitics."
Some of new "states" are pretty unsurprising...

Vegas is a black hole of alcohol? Psh, who'da thunk?

Some of them are social commentaries...
Cocktails, margaritas, rum, and white zinfandel...I'm pretty sure all of those words were in the Florida state song anyway.

But some of them are just plain scary.
