Illegal Immigrants Just Drew Up Their Own Bogus “Bill Of Rights”
“United We Stay,” a pro-amnesty non-profit that believes every illegal immigrant deserves citizenship, published a “Bill of Rights” for illegals this Thursday and wants it incorporated into the U.S. Constitution.
The so-called “rights” listed in the document are as follows:
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 1
“Acknowledgment that we are already here, that we are human beings with a right to be, that our mere presence cannot be deemed illegal or our existence alien.”
Sorry, but according to common-sense and basic constitutional law, your presence here can and will be deemed illegal because you crossed into this country illegally, i.e., without permission.
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 2
“Affirmation that we are to be treated with dignity and respect, not just because of who we are, but who you are — historic beneficiaries of immigrant struggles for the freedom to be.”
History is in the past, and we live in the present. What occurred centuries past has no bearing on 21st-century America’s national sovereignty.
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 3
“Recognition of our right to be presented with a path to citizenship/residency as the first priority of future immigration policy combined with interim deferment of all law-abiding Undocumented Americans against detention and deportation.”
Sorry, but you have no right to a “path to citizenship.” Nor do you have any right to dictate how we the actual citizens of the United States of America design our immigration laws.
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 4
“Compelled authorization of birth certificates for our U.S.-born children to ensure their constitutionally guaranteed right to citizenship.”
If 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump becomes president, this alleged right will no longer even exist.
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 5
“Protection against cruel and unusual punishment, including the separation of our immediate families and incarceration without charges, hearings or representation.”
The moment you illegally cross into the United States, you relinquish the so-called “right” to not be tossed into jail and separated from your immediate family.
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 6
“Access to non-discriminating public education and in-state tuition to ensure that our children realize their full potential for themselves and the country.”
If you want a proper education, you had better turn around, go home and apply to study in the United States the proper way.
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 7
“Guarantee of wage equality with a legal right to petition for wage theft or workplace mistreatment without jeopardizing our immigration status.”
Again, someone who enters the United States illegally has ZERO rights, save for the right to be deported back home where you belong.
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 8
“Assurance of humanitarian treatment, including medical care.”
Like the humanitarian treatment Mexico gave Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, ?
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 9
“Protection against detention or deportation when we report a crime as a victim of witness.”
Why should we protect you against criminals when you yourself happen to a criminal — one who shamelessly violates the rights of American citizens like me?
Illegal Immigrant Non-Right “Right” 10
“Guarantee of the Declaration’s unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
The Declaration’s rights only apply to American citizens, NOT illegal immigrants!
For the purpose of brevity, here is a condensed version of my response to this absurd “Bill of Rights”:
