12 Ways to Choose Healthy over Harmful

Every food ingredient you put in your shopping cart is a choice. Every morsel you put into your mouth is also a choice. Why not choose healthy over harmful? Some simple reminders:


INSTEAD OF White flour bread TRY Pumpernickel, rye or whole-wheat bread

INSTEAD OF Iceberg lettuce TRY Green leaf, red leaf or romaine lettuce, spinach, arugula

INSTEAD OF Bologna TRY Hummus (it’s yummy, too!)

INSTEAD OF Salami or pastrami TRY Hard boiled eggs in pita bread

INSTEAD OF Regular mayo TRY Low-fat mayo. Better still, no mayo!

INSTEAD OF Cup of noodles TRY Hearty lentil soup
