Fox News recently tried to link President Obama to the killings of two NYPD police officers on Saturday in Brooklyn.
The alleged gunman, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, who fatally shot police officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, had a history of mental problems and attempted suicide, noted The New York Times.
However, "Fox and Friends" tried to lay the blame on President Obama, Al Sharpton and Attorney General Eric Holder (video below), noted RawStory.com.
“It's hard not to get emotional, you want to keep to the facts, you don’t want to start speculating about why this happened or casting blame unfairly. Again, we know who pulled the trigger, he is ultimately responsible,” stated co-host Tucker Carlson.
However, Carlson proceeded to speculate and cast blame on third parties.
“But it’s such an emotional thing, it’s so wrong, immoral, unfair, that it’s almost hard not to point at some of the people who have been whipping up race hatred in this country for the past couple of months, and saying, 'You know they do bear some responsibility for this,' that's how I feel anyway,” added Carlson.
"The President of the United States, who is a very smart guy, who chooses his words carefully, and basically says the problem is police," claimed Carlson. "You know there are bad cops, I get it, I've met them, and but there are also really bad neighborhoods, and the president never mentioned that, it was only about the cops"

However, President Obama was specifically referring to particular grand juries that do not indict white men who kill unarmed black men. President Obama didn't blame all police and has repeatedly spoken out about violence in black neighborhoods, notedMediaMatters.org.
"Tucker was referencing some of the leaders who have whipped up some of these protests to a frenzy," said co-host Clayton Morris. "To recap some of this, if you've been traveling over the past few weeks, here are some of those leaders, listen to their messages."

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) appeared on Fox News Sunday and accused President Obama and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio of "cop bashing" and "anti-police rhetoric," notedBuzzfeed.com.
According to RealClearPolitics.com, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani also appeared on Fox News Sunday where he falsely claimed that President Obama had engaged in propaganda that "that everybody should hate the police."
However, President Obama has never advocated that anyone should hate the police.
