This very modest wedding took place on February 24, 1992 in the presence of only close friends and a handful of roadies with no paparazzi. Kurt was dressed in green flannel pajamas while the bride wore a dress that once belonged to Frances Farmer, the tragic Hollywood actress. This was not a coincidence as Kurt and Courtney were big fans of the actress. Nirvana's even wrote a song "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle." Rumor has it that the groom cried at the ceremony while Love did not shed a tear.
