Elizabeth Warren: "If Scott Walker sees 100,000 teachers & firefighters as his enemies, maybe it's time we take a closer look at his friends.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) criticized Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) for insinuating that his fight with unions prepared him to be commander in chief.

Warren, who is closely aligned with progressive union groups, ripped Walker in a tweet Saturdayfor what some saw as a comparison between union members and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria:

"If Scott Walker sees 100,000 teachers & firefighters as his enemies, maybe it's time we take a closer look at his friends.”

In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, Walker said, “If I can take on 100,000 protestors, I can do the same across the world.”

Walker, a possible 2016 presidential candidate for the GOP,  tried to walk back his comments after his speech, which drew criticism from the left.

“There’s no comparison between the two, let me be perfectly clear. I’m just pointing out the closest thing I have to handling a difficult situation was the 100,000 protesters I had to deal with," Walker told reporters after his speech, according to the New York Times.

  1. I want to know when one of these candidates is going to say publicly that banks giving capital and credit to the wealthy is ridiculous when it is the poor and working-classes that need access to credit and capital to succeed?

When is someone going to address the Fed's role in ruining the American Dream for everyone except the political class?

  2. Yes him saying that about dealing with protesters and the world are absurd, but Warren thinks the whole Country is her enemy, so who is more delusional? The whole gov looks at "we the people" as the biggest threat, wonder why they are so paranoid? Maybe it is their guilty conscience, they know what they are doing is beyond evil, It cant be that, they have no conscience! They are definitely on the WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY!
