Brits Utterly Destroy Their PM On Twitter After He Tries To Scare Them Off Popular Socialist Opposition Leader (TWEETS)

If you’ve been laboring under the misapprehension that the Brits operate that “stiff upper lip” policy at all times, let me clue you in — they don’t. Nothing annoys the British more than foul play, a sense that someone is bending the rules and not playing fair. So when U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron launched a nakedly inauthentic Twitter attack on the newly elected socialist leader of Britain’s largest party, the Brits utterly destroyed him.
After Jeremy Corbyn’s landslide victory in the Labour Leadership election on Saturday, Prime Minister David Cameron used his official Twitter account to issue what might go down in history as the most embarrassing political tweet of our time.
Former Queen guitarist and Badger Cull activist Brian May could barely believe this was an official tweet by the PM.
Comic writer and actor David Schneider was quick with a comeback.
Top Irish Comedian and ‘Mock the Week’ host Dara O’Brien was filled with the PM’s fear.
Hop hip duo Rizzle Kicks has something to say.
My Cat Is Sad even got in on the action.
This was former Labour Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott’s personal favorite.
Some took a bit of an ‘Only Fools and Horses’ angle.
And some just let loose completely.
My personal favorite….
Even the Russian Embassy decided to chime in.
Basically, if you’re having a bad day, go over and take a look at these responses and they will cheer you up. Who knew the Brits had it in them?
The Corbyn victory should hearten Bernie Sanders fans no end. The socialist lawmaker came from nowhere in order to present the possibility that Britain’s next Prime Minister and government will be delivering a radical program of left wing policies. This platform includes nationalizing banks, energy, public transit and creating citizen’s investment banks which would launch a program of Quantitative Easing for people and communities, rather than banks.
