Difference Between the NRA and Planned Parenthood Perfectly Expressed

Last Resistance explains why Planned Parenthood deserves to be labeled a terrorist group:
Linda Stasi recently penned a piece for the New York Daily News in which she finally says what every liberal is thinking: Second Amendment advocates are terrorists. She labels the NRA a “terrorist group” responsible for every gun-related death.
Stasi writes:
“Between 2012 and 2015, according to University of Maryland’s Global Terrorism Database, ISIS has murdered approximately 12,138 civilians, Boko Haram,10,092, the Taliban 9,427 and Hamas, 85. In that time, Americans have murdered or spree killed via gun and assault rifle, 87,423 people in the United States.”

She goes on to admit that while the NRA isn’t “state-sponsored,” they might as well be:
“Although the NRA is not an officially state-sponsored organization it is the supporter of the state with its massive member and lobbyist donations to our elected officials. After the last no-vote on gun control, the British newspaper The Guardian did an analysis that showed 45 of the 48 senators who torpedoed gun control in Congress ‘have received money from firearms lobbyists’…”
Stasi’s contention is that because the NRA gives money to candidates that support the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, and guns kill people, the NRA should be labeled a terrorist organization.
As Awr Hawkins of Breitbart notes, that’s not how the State Department’s list of state-sponsored terrorist organizations works. But let’s throw Stasi a bone, and allow her suggestion to be true for just a moment. What other organization falls under a similar banner? Planned Parenthood.
Guns may have killed 87,423 people in the United States between 2012 and 2015, but in 2011 alone, there were 1.1 million abortions. According to the Guttmacher Institute, roughly 1% of abortions are performed after 20 weeks—and this is a low estimate.
If 1.1 million abortions were performed in 2011, according to Guttmacher’s estimates, approximately 11,000 of them were performed after 20 weeks. This means that between 2012 and 2015, approximately 41,250 infants were aborted after 20 weeks.
Planned Parenthood is America’s largest abortion provider, and they receive roughly $500 million in government funding annually. So, unlike the NRA, Planned Parenthood is state-sponsored.
But it’s doesn’t end there! Live Action reports that 45 out of the 46 Senators who voted against defunding Planned Parenthood in August have received donations from the abortion giant–and it’s not just a few dollars:

“In order to fund nearly every Democrat in the U.S. Senate who voted against defunding Planned Parenthood, the Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPA) and Planned Parenthood Votes (PPV), have spent $1,609,498. Roughly 2/3 of this money was spent in 2012 alone.”
The Hill reports that in 2012, “Planned Parenthood launched a $1.4 million ad buy” against Mitt Romney. The organization also publicly endorsed Barack Obama.
To recap, Planned Parenthood is not only state funded, but they contribute to the campaigns of pro-abortion senators, and our pro-abortion president.
