EXPOSED: The Hypocrisy of Bernie Sanders on Minimum Wage

It’s clear to those with a brain that increasing the minimum wage is not a viable idea, as it only forces business owners to raise product prices and employ less individuals.
On top of the infeasibility of such an idea is the insane hypocrisy from liberals.

For example, Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders recently introduced the “Pay Workers a Living Age Act,” a bill that would gradually increase the federal minimum wage to at least $15 per hour within five years of its becoming law.
In the bill’s summary, the first bullet point reads, “No one working full time should be in poverty. It is time to pay workers a living wage of at least $15 an hour.”
However, Sanders only pays the interns who work for him $12 an hour.
From The Week:
This week, Democratic presidential candidate and independent Senator Bernie Sanders introduced the Pay Workers a Living Wage Act, a bill designed to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2020. The federal minimum wage “has got to be increased to a living wage!” Sanders saidwhile announcing the bill. “That means raising the minimum wage to at least $15 an hour!”
But one group of workers who don’t make the $15 an hour minimum Sanders supports are his own interns. As the Media Research Center noticed, Sanders’ Senate website publicly states that interns are paid just $12 an hour. Here’s a screenshot:
I love the irony that the pictures of the $15 minimum wage rally are located right next to internship FAQ that shows the staff members of the man pushing for the raise himself are among the 62 million workers making under $15 an hour.
Of course, we understand it’s tough to follow your own ideals sometimes.
