More Americans NOT Working and Here is Why

If you want a job in America you may actually want to think about creating your own.  The number of people out of work has hit a record high and the Democrats seem to simply ignore or deny it.
Is it time now to realize that the economic direction of this country needs a change?  Yes and the Democrats do not know how to bring about that change.  Keep them in office and there is no hope.
From Breitbart – The number of Americans not in the labor force exceeded 94 million for the second time in a row last month hitting a new record high, according to new government data released Friday morning.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that a record 94,610,000 people (ages 16 and over) were not in the labor force in September. In other words they were neither employed nor had made specific efforts to find work in the prior four weeks.

The number of individuals out of the work force last month — due to discouragement, retirement or otherwise — represented a substantial 579,000 person increase over the most recent record, hit in August, of 94,031,000 people out of the workforce.
While the prior two months saw a labor force participation rate of 62.2 percent, September’s participation rate dropped to 62.4 percent, matching the lowest level seen since October 1977.
The civilian labor force in September clocked in at 156,715,000, declining by 350,000 people, compared to August’s 157,065,000 labor force level.
In total 148,800,000 people were employed last month, 7,915,000 were unemployed, and 5,955,000 people were looking for a job.
Overall the Labor Department reported that the economy added 142,000 nonfarm payroll jobs in September and the unemployment rate remained at 5.1 percent.

To continue to ignore our problem of illegal aliens will put us further down this hole.  With the Democrats pushing for amnesty our country will continue to have employment problems for our citizens.

From Free Beacon – There are 3,553,000 more foreign-born workers employed today than when President Obama took office in January 2009, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
There are currently close to 25 million foreign-born workers employed in the United States, and this number increased by 14,000 in September. In January 2009, when the president took office, there were only 21,928,000 foreign-born workers employed.
The BLS does not distinguish between legal immigrants who are permitted to work here and illegal aliens in this data set.
While the number of employed foreign-born workers is increasing, the number of native-born workers has declined. For the past three months, since July, the number of employed native-born workers has declined every month. Since August, employed native-born workers have declined by 262,000.
The unemployment rate for foreign-born workers at 4.6 percent is lower than the unemployment rate for native-born workers at 4.9 percent.
